Conte wants to stop Havertz

Inter play tonight from 21:00 with Bayer Leverkusen. It will be one of the most exciting quarter-final matches between two title contenders.

Inter and Bayer Leverkusen play a small piece of history tonight in the Europa League. The Germans dream of staying on track to win their first title since the distant 1993, while the Nerazzurri aim for their only European semi-final since 2010, the year of the legendary Treble with Mourinho on the bench. Without Amiri (in quarantine) nor the sanctioned Aránguiz (sanctioned), the main danger among the Germans is Kai Havertz, whom Antonio Conte wanted to praise, but not too much: "He is a footballer with enormous quality and who can have a great career, but hopefully tomorrow he doesn't show it. "The Italian should once again bet on Lautaro and Lukaku up front (while Eriksen points to another start on the bench) and warned of the dangers coming from Bayer counterattacks, which he defined as lethal. Peter Bosz, for his part, was optimistic ("we want qualification and in 90 minutes everything is possible"), but he also respected the Nerazzurri team: "A team that closes Calcio in second place cannot be bad" .

The state of form will be unknown for both the opponents. Leverkusen on Thursday defeated Rangers after a month without playing, Inter has not stopped since June between the Italian Cup, Serie A and Europa League. The Italians will have more rhythm, but also more accumulated fatigue.
