Betis announces two new positives in its squad

The club announces that the two players are asymptomatic and isolated after knowing the results of the tests carried out on Thursday


Betis made public this Friday afternoon that two members of the expedition displaced to the Marbella concentration have tested positive for COVID-19. The tests were carried out on Thursday and the results have been known 24 hours later, having taken all the security measures for the isolation of the two positives, in addition to that of Loren who could not travel with his companions to the concentration.

The Betis statement reads like this:

Real Betis has detected two positive cases for Covid-19 in the expedition moved to Marbella to carry out the first phase of the preseason. The tests were carried out yesterday, Thursday, when only individual training had been carried out and with the pertinent prevention measures established in the protocols of the League and the health authorities.

Those affected are asymptomatic and in good health. Once the results are known today, the club has taken extreme measures to isolate all the members of the expedition and in the next few hours new PCR tests will be carried out.
