Cory Higgins will also travel, already in the final stretch of his recovery from the intervention he underwent on July 6 from chronic plantar fasciitis that he suffered in his right foot.

Four days later, on Friday, September 4, the first official title of the season will arrive, the Catalan League. Those from Jasikevicius will play against BAXI Manresa on September 4 at the Palau Blaugrana, the semifinals of the competition. In case of victory, the Catalans will play the final against the winner of the other semi-final between Morabanc Andorra-Joventut, on Sunday, September 6. In this edition of the Catalan competition there will also be a match for third and fourth place.

Before the start of the Endesa League, it will be the turn of the Endesa Super Cup, which will be played in Tenerife on September 12 and 13. On the 12th, Barça will play a semi-final against Baskonia and, in case of victory, the final of the competition against the winner of the other semi-final between Real Madrid-Iberostar Tenerife.
