Spanish Alejandro Ropero (Kometa-Xstra Cycling Team) is the first pink jersey of the Tour d'Italia sub'23 by winning the first stage, which starts and finishes in Urbino, with a distance of 150.5 kilometers.
The 22-year-old Andalusian cyclist achieved victory on the Urbino climb, entering the finish line ahead of Belgian Henri Vandenabeele (Lotto-Soudal) and Italian Antonio Tiberi (Team Colpack). This is the first victory of the season for the Kometa-Xstra rider. This Sunday the second stage is held between Gradara and Riccione, of 119.9 kilometers.
