The Kings support sport on their visit to the Alonso museum

Don Felipe VI and Doña Letizia went to the Asturian pilot museum in La Morgal to close their tour of the different points of the Spanish geography.

Their Majesties the Kings of Spain have made a visit this Thursday to the Fernando Alonso Museum and Circuit, in La Morgal (Llanera / Asturias), in which they have been accompanied by the Asturian pilot who gives it its name, which is also the Prince of Asturias Award .

The Kings have attended a Road Education class for children, in which the two-time world champion in Formula 1 has answered some of the children's questions.

"It is not difficult for me to respect the rules," replied the pilot, who has advised the children that they can help their parents so that they do not get lost behind the wheel or do not use their mobile phones when driving, for example. "Do a little detective", has encouraged them.

The Kings of Spain then visited two go-kart circuits, one of them for younger children, to enter the museum afterwards, where the two-time Formula 1 world champion gave them directions on the objects and vehicles on display.

During the visit, the Kings were also accompanied by the Minister of Culture, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes; the President of the Principality, Adrián Barbón; the delegate of the Government in Asturias, Delia Losa; the Minister of Culture, Berta Piñán; the general director of Sports, Beatriz Álvarez Mesa; and the director of the Princess of Asturias Foundation, Teresa Sanjurjo, among other authorities.

Don Felipe VI and Doña Letizia, at the end of the visit, have uncovered a plaque and have taken various family photos, with authorities and with staff and museum officials, including one alone with Fernando Alonso.
