Sergio Samitier's hard fall: "I prefer a goring of Sanfermines"

The Movistar rider suffered a hard fall while training, although he stated that, despite the multiple abrasions, he had no serious injury in the accident.

Movistar cyclist Sergio Samitier wanted to share this Tuesday the least friendly face of cycling: that of falls during training that runners sometimes suffer during their outings.

Samitier shared a shocking image on social networks in which the jersey was visibly torn on the right side of his body with a great abrasion and also bruises on his left shoulder.

Despite the harshness of the image, Samitier himself wanted to reassure fans with this comment along with the photo. "The other side of the coin. Hard moments. Fortunately nothing broken, but I prefer a goring in Sanfermines. Another life less. We continue"

Several members of his environment affirmed that Samitier "is as if all the bulls of San Fermín had passed over him", although the Aragonese hopes to recover from these 'sheet metal and paint' injuries to face his great goals for the restart of the season 2020, where he hopes to be a key piece of Movistar after shining last year in races such as the Vuelta a Burgos or the Vuelta a España.
