After the deadline for the submission of qualified offers, the ACB announces the list of players whose recruitment is subject to the right of first refusal by the club of origin as well as those players who received a qualified offer at the time and who have communicated their intention to return to ACB competitions for the 2020-21 season.

Pursuant to the contracting procedure established in the IV Collective Agreement, the term of 13 days to present bid documents on those players subject to the right of first refusal will end next Monday, July 20,

Clubs interested in any player included in the first list must present the offer document in the ACB, which will send it to the club of origin the next day, so that, within a period of 5 calendar days, they exercise their right of extension. The conditions of the offer document are reflected in Article 14.3 of the Collective Agreement.

Details of the right of first refusal

1.- The clubs or SAD have a period of 13 calendar days to present offer documents on those players subject to the right of first refusal, which will begin this Wednesday, July 8 and end on Monday, July 20 at 23.59 (peninsular time) .

2.- The bidding clubs must present the offer document in the ACB, which will send it to the club or SAD of origin the following calendar day, so that within the non-extendible period of another 5 calendar days, it exercises its right of extension and, in Consequently, hire the player, which will imply the commitment of the Club or SAD of origin to match the conditions that appear in the offer document received from the third party.

.- The contracting procedure for the 2020/21 season will end on Sunday, July 26 at 11:59 p.m., the last day to exercise the right of extension by the club of origin, on those offers that are presented in the last of the 13 days available for it.

4.- Under the provisions of Article 17 of the IV Collective Agreement, the clubs or SAD may exercise and maintain indefinitely the rights they hold over their players, depending on the age they have at any given time, even if they participate in competitions Not organized by ACB.

Requirements for the return of players

1.- Starting today, the Clubs or SAD will have 13 calendar days to present offer documents on these players, which are subject to the right of first refusal of their clubs or SAD of origin. These documents must be signed by the player and by the legal representative of the Club or SAD bidder, and will include the provisions contained in Annex 2.
