Cordón 'discards' Kubo and opens the door for Ceballos

The sports director of Betis granted an interview to Onda Cero in which he analyzed the names that have been linked to the club to date.

Antonio Cordón, sports director of Betis, gave an interview to Onda Cero in which he had no problem referring to two of the proper names that have been linked to the Verdiblanco club in recent times: Kubo and Dani Ceballos. And Cordón's opinion regarding both could not be more different.

Questioned by Kubo, Cordón dismissed it for his extra-community record: "Regarding Kubo, Betis currently has three places for players who are very happy with them and are currently Betis players, so on that side we are covered" . However, the three players to which Cordón refers are Emerson, who has ballots to leave this summer, Lainez, who after a year and a half in the club has found no continuity, and Guido Rodríguez, signed last January.

Regarding Dani Ceballos, the Betis sports director was much more receptive, although Cordón did not hide the difficulty of his return: "We know how great a player he is, we know his past, he is a very interesting player as everyone knows, a great player. From there, we will see what work group, what team we make and what we are going to play. There, the coach also has a lot to say ".
