The Getxo Circuit will feature a stellar participation

There will be five World Tour teams, which Ineos could join. Mikel Landa, Gaviria and Pedersen are featured on the big stars poster.

The 75th edition of the Getxo-Memorial Hermanos Otxoa Circuit is expected to be exciting. Not only because it is a significant figure in itself, but because on August 2, five World Tour level teams will meet in this event for Basque lands. Namely: Movistar Team, Bahrain-McLaren, NTT, Trek-Segafredo and UAE Team Emirates, as indicated by El Correo. These five squads could also be joined by the Ineos team, according to the official newspaper of the test.

As for stars of the international squad, the presence of Mikel Landa, Fernando Gaviria, Mark Cavendish, Pello Bilbao, Victor Campenaerts and the current world champion on the road, Mads Pedersen, are confirmed. Apart from the World Tour teams mentioned above, there will be Burgos-BH, Caja Rural-RGA, Euskaltel-Euskadi, Kern Pharma and Kometa-Xstra as Spanish representation.

As is tradition, the composition of the race is maintained: a total of six laps on a 24-kilometer circuit (177 km in total). The great novelty is incorporated with the Pika Bidea ravine, a terrible and explosive ascent from 2 km to 14% of average slope and maximum ramps of 20%. Jon Aberasturi (Caja Rural) defends the title of the last course.
