F1 sells ... the checkered flag boxes of goal

Liberty promotes the initiative for solidarity purposes within a charity campaign in which fans can have an indelible memory of the GP.

New times. That is the idea that they transmit from Liberty, the promoter of F1. And the latest invention of the championship managers is a charitable initiative to raise money for social purposes within the #WeRaceAsOne program (we run as one) with the intention of supporting the fight against inequality and the negative effects of the coronavirus.

For this, F1 offers on the official website of the championship, now available for the Austrian GP on July 5, the possibility of buying one of the squares of the checkered flag that will end the race. The fan who pays for it will be able to put his name in the purchased box and, in addition, will receive his mounted and framed square together with an image of the flag in action and a hologram that proves the authenticity of the product. The unsold paintings will be available to the promoter of each test to participate fans or guests.
