The Bernabéu is Benzema's favorite setting

The Frenchman has 10 goals and five assists in the nine games he has played at Santiago Bernabéu. Espanyol has scored seven goals.

Madrid begins before Espanyol (Saturday, December 7, 1:00 p.m., Movistar LaLiga) its final year end. Those of Zidane will play five games before 2020 arrives: against the parakeet, Bruges to close the Champions League league, Valencia, Classic and Athletic. After the confirmed casualties of Hazard, Bale and Marcelo, added to those of Asensio (long-term), James and Lucas Vázquez, the whites return to the Bernabéu with the obligation to add the three points. And for that they have a lethal offensive trick: Karim Benzema. The French striker has 10 goals and five assists in the nine games he has played in the Madrid Coliseum (he only lost the match against Osasuna, where he was on the bench.

Karim has scored in seven of the nine games he has played at the Bernabéu. He opened his account to Valladolid, and was followed by Levante (two goals), Granada, Leganés, Galatasaray (another double), Real Sociedad and PSG (two other goals). Not happy with that, the Frenchman assisted Sergio Ramos in the draw against Bruges (2-2), gave another two goal passes in the little hand that the Whites endorsed the Leganes (attended Rodrygo and Kroos). He also gave another final pass again to Rodrygo to finish the win against Galatasaray (the Brazilian closed the scoring and achieved his first hat-trick with the white shirt). His climax as an assistant went to Real Sociedad: he went to Modric to blow the ball. His statistics against the Blue and Whites are not bad: he has scored seven goals in 15 games and won 13 of 15 games played.

Benzema also performs at home.

His performance outside the Bernabéu is not bad either: he has four goals and one assist. He scored and assisted on the first day of the League against Celta: he opened the scoring and gave the last pass to Lucas Vázquez to close the score. He also scored in Seville the only goal of the match, while in Ipurua (Eibar) he achieved his only double at home so far this season. He brushed the goal against Atlético, but Oblak made an anthological paradox to his head shot. Also in the defeat against Mallorca he had the goal in his boots: he acrobaticly finished off a measured center of James that crashed into the crossbar. Before Espanyol, Karim returns to his favorite stage ...
