Simeone puts the arrival of a '9' before Bruno Guimaraes

The Argentine coach has as a priority for January a striker who reinforces the scoring numbers. The Brazilian would join next season.

EI Atlético needs a goal above all things. The poor scoring figures, with 16 goals scored in 15 days of the League, together with Diego Costa's injury that will have him out until February, stresses the need to go to the winter market in search of a tip, as AS reported the November 11th.

Morata has remained alone upstairs and since his fantastic streak of six consecutive games seeing door as rojiblanco, to which he joined another with the Selection, chains three meetings in which he has remained dry and the team has suffered. Against Granada, Juventus and Barcelona only one goal has come despite the improvement in the game and the large number of occasions generated.

Therefore, Simeone is clear that his main objective to reinforce the team mid-season is the search for a battering ram that can provide a goal and complement Morata or replace him in the case of not having his '9'. The difficulties in overcoming the salary limit open the doors for the arrival of a forward to occur as a loan until the end of the season with the possibility of including a purchase option, the same case that lived with Morata a year ago on his arrival from the Chelsea.

Cavani is one of the options, because the Uruguayan has the plus of finishing the contract in June and being able to negotiate from January to arrive as a free agent from next season. But for him to join Atlético in January, he would have to negotiate with the PSG and fit his salary within the limits stipulated by LaLiga. Rodrigo, Piatek, Belotti and Giroud, who is not counting on minutes at Chelsea, are other of the many names listed on the Atlético's agenda.

This operation does not close the doors to the signing of Bruno Guimaraes, but it does complicate his arrival in January. The Brazilian midfielder would be incorporated for the 30 million of his clause, where Atlético enjoys a preferential option obtained in the transfer of Lodi, but without several important departures it would not be possible to register him. Simeone puts a forward in January before the midfielder, who will have to wait until next season to start wearing the rojiblanca shirt.

He said goodbye to his fans

In the discount of the match between Atlético Paranaensey Santos, Bruno Guimaraes jumped into the field to say goodbye. He barely had time to touch the ball, since he was reluctant of an injury but he could turn around the stadium in tears and distributing hugs to everyone. Bruno talked about Atlético en Esporte Interativa: "If I go there, I know it's a great club that plays the Champions League. I rejected several proposals to pursue the dream of going to European football."
