Simeone pulls the squad for the list for Villarreal

Toni Moya, Dario Poveda and Riquelme, in the call of the 19 players chosen by Saponjic, the first team player.

Diego Simeone, coach of Atlético de Madrid, has taken 19 players for the match against Villarreal, including Toni Moya, Dario Poveda and Rodrigo Riquelme and with five casualties: the injured Diego Costa, José María Giménez, Stefan Savic and Sime Vrsaljko and the sanctioned Angel Correa.

After the morning training before moving to Vila-real, the technician offered the summons, to which both strikers Dario Poveda and Rodrigo Riquelme return as the midfielder - also used as central by Simeone - Toni Moya, of the subsidiary of Second B. Ivan Saponjic, first team player, was the only discard.

There are five casualties in the Atlético expedition. Four of them already repetitive in the last duels: Diego Costa, for a cervical disc herniation and for a fourth shock followed; Giménez, for the ninth duel for a muscle injury; Savic, for the eleventh meeting; and Sime Vrsaljko, after his knee operation last February. They are joined by Correa, who will serve a penalty for five yellows.

The call is made up of goalkeepers Jan Oblak and Antonio Adam; the defenders Kieran Trippier, Santiago Arias, Felipe Monteiro, Mario Hermoso and Renan Lodi; midfielders Thomas Lemar, Héctor Herrera, Thomas Partey, Saúl Ñíguez, Marcos Llorente, Koke Resurrección, Toni Moya, Víctor Machín, 'Vitolo'; and the strikers João Félix, Alvaro Morata, Dario Poveda and Rodrigo Riquelme.
