Sergi García separates from Valencia and signs for Baskonia

The Spanish base returns to Spain. He was on loan from Valencia at Rasta Vechta, but he has been free and signed by the Alavés club.

Sergi García (Palma de Mallorca, 1997) is the new Baskonia base. The club studied the possibility of incorporating the loan in the VEF Riga Arturs Kurucs but the operation did not go to account. Garcia was in the German Rasta Vechta as a loan from Valencia. There he averaged 8.3 points per game, 3.4 assists and 7.9 valuation. In the Basketball Champions League signed numbers of 11.5 points, 5.5 assists, 8 rebounds and 20 valuation.

Before playing in Germany he did it at Sant Josep Obrer in Palma de Mallorca, CAI Zaragoza (debuted with 16 years at the ACB), Valencia and Baxi Manresa. "He has experience in the league and is a signing that pleases us. He can help us in the league and also in Europe," said Velimir Perasovic in the previous Efes.

Sergi García dissociated himself from Valencia yesterday, arrives this afternoon in Vitoria, will start training with KirolBet, will watch the game against Anadolu from the stands and will debut, almost certainly, on Sunday against Joventut in the Endesa League. For this, the club will cancel the injured Jayson Granger in the competition. The market will also be attentive to incorporate a short-term forward.
