Nacional and Peñarol will play the Clausura in a final

A goal in the last minute of Lores gave Peñarol the victory. The Carbonero tied at the top of the table with Nacional and the Clausura will be played in a final.

National and Peñarol beat Juventud and Cerro Largo, respectively, and now the Clausura tournament must go to a final between the two largest Uruguayan soccer teams to define the champion.

The keys of the day:

1. GOLEO BUT NOT REACH

The National culminated at the top of the accumulated Annual Table after beating Youth 0-3 but failed to be crowned champion of the Clausura after the agonizing victory of Peñarol.

2. TRIUMPH IN THE LAST BALL

Peñarol had a very hard game against Cerro Largo and it was not until the last play of the duel in which he achieved an agonized 2-1 victory that will allow him to go to a final against his traditional rival to define the champion of the Clausura Tournament.

. WON BUT DESCENDED

Racing defeated Plaza Colonia 3-2 but the bad season meant that the victory did not help much and descended to the second Division of Uruguayan football.

4. WON AND SAVED

The other team that was engaged in the lower zone of the table was the Boston River, where Sebastian "El Loco" Abreu militates, but he won a 3-1 victory against the Danube and stayed in the first category.

5. GOES FROM COPAS

El Progreso, the club of which the current president of Uruguay, Tabaré Vázquez, is a fan, achieved a historic qualification to the Copa Libertadores and closed a great season in the first places of the table.
