Fernando Jubero, renewed in Japan despite the decline

The Catalan coach will continue to lead a Jwabil Iwata that this season could not fight the descent to the Japanese Second Division.

Fernando Jubero will continue training in Japan. The Catalan coach extended his contract with Júbilo Iwata, which he will continue to lead next season despite the decline to the Japanese Second Division: "Together we will achieve the goal of promotion," he said in the social networks of the club Spanish, which will continue to count with Daniel Rubiol as assistant.

Jubero, who went through the academy of FC Barcelona and the Aspire Academy before starting his professional career on the benches, directed in Paraguay to Guaraní, Olimpia, Cerro Porteño and Libertad, with which he won an Apertura tournament, between 2013 and 2018. Last August he was introduced as coach of Júbilo Iwata, which he took from the J-League showlist.

In the 11 games he has been leading the team, Fernando Jubero has won four wins, one draw and six losses. Enough to leave the red lantern of the competition but scarce at the time of avoiding the descent to Second. After four consecutive seasons in the elite, the club based in Shizuoka Prefecture will return to the Japanese football silver category.
