Balotelli may leave "Brescia" for free in January

The president of the Italian club, Massimo Cellino, says that "Mario is sad because he can't play. He must choose which path is best for him."

The president of the Italian Brescia, Massimo Cellino, has opened the door to team striker Mario Balotelli ensuring that "in January he can leave" and that he must think "which way is better" for his immediate future.

Balotelli has had trouble giving up since joining Brescia in August, scoring two goals in eight appearances in Serie A. Last month, the Italian international threatened to leave the field after suffering racist chants during a match against Hellas Verona .

"Mario is sad because he can't play. Fighting for survival in Serie A requires a great sacrifice and maybe he thought it would be much simpler. In January he can go free. At this moment he must choose which path is best for him" , Cellino said in statements to the Italian television program Le Iene.
