The Diputación vibrates with the departure of the La Nucía-Mediterráneo rally

Hundreds of fans are concentrated in the Provincial Palace to see live the staging of the drivers and cars.

Hundreds of citizens and fans of racing cars gathered yesterday in the gardens of the Provincial Palace to attend the Ceremony of the 25th La Nucía-Mediterráneo Rally 'Costa Blanca Trophy'. The president of the Diputación de Alicante, Carlos Mazón, and the deputy of Sports, Bernabé Cano, were responsible for giving the exit to this spectacular and colorful sporting event in which the roar of the engines has been the main protagonist.

The act was also attended by the mayor of Alicante, Luis Barcala, and the president of the Interclubs Association of Motoring (AIA), Vicente Cabanes, among other authorities.

After greeting, signing autographs and photographing with the large audience, the pilots set off in the direction of Finestrat's Karting to contest a timed 'special' section of 1.72 kilometers. Of course, not before delighting those present with the odd skid.

The Rallye La Nucía-Mediterráneo 'Costa Blanca Trophy' will continue this Saturday with an exciting day consisting of ten sections, five sections and a distance of 520 kilometers, of which 152.60 will be timed. This event, in its twenty-fifth edition, will cover 36 municipalities in the interior of the province dispersed in a range of seventy kilometers.
