Ibai Gómez: "I fight to have more continuity"

This year the goal is resisted this course: "It is important, but it is easier if you play continuously and that is why I am fighting."

Ibai Gomez in a mature guy. He has just turned 30 and is clear about his goal within Athletic: "I fight to have a little more continuity and so I will reach my best level," the Athletic end, since entering and leaving the competing lineups direct with Iñigo Córdoba in the left profile of the attack. Marking a goal, one of his specialties, also prioritizes it, although he resists this course: "It is important, but it is easier if you play continuously and that is why I am fighting," he concludes ambitiously.

Precisely with Cordoba there was a runrun in San Mamés. Ibai comes out in the defense of his partner: "We are all Athletic and we must row to the same side. It not only hurts a player but also the collective." In front of Osasuna, a high intensity clash awaits them in El Sadar: "It will be a fought, beautiful and difficult match. We must be brave. Anyone likes to play this type of game" .

Santutxu maintains that the Arrasate team is "very confident and has taken the measure to their home." To overlap those 31 games without giving in at its stadium in Pamplona, Ibai tells that an armored Athletic must slide in several coordinates: "Ordered back, centered, with intense pressure and creating occasions".
