Froome reopens before competing again

The British cyclist of Ineos underwent an operation to have several screws removed at his hip and elbow after his serious fall in the Dauphiné.


Chris Froome has returned to the operating room this Friday in an operation planned during her rehabilitation phase after the serious fall she suffered in the recognition of the Dauphiné time trial.

Froome, who already warned of this operation after making an appearance at the Saitama Criterium and recognizing the route of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, underwent this surgery in which he removed several screws and plates that he had on his elbow and in the hip area

The leader of the Ineos wanted to reassure and inform his followers with a photo of him after the operation "Losing some 'hardware' of my hip and my elbow.
