Dembélé will start his injury recovery tomorrow in Qatar and in Barcelona

The French striker will carry out his recovery process at the Aspetar Hospital in Doha and the Joan Gamper Sports City.

French striker Ousmane Dembélé will start his recovery tomorrow on the right thigh femoral biceps at the Aspetar Hospital in Doha (Qatar) and will also alternate it at the FC Barcelona Sports City, Catalan club reported

The process will be supervised by the medical services of FC Barcelona, after an operation is ruled out, for conservative treatment. The French striker Ousmane Dembélé will be about ten weeks off as a result of a muscle injury in the biceps femoris of the right thigh.

The player was injured in the match last Wednesday Barcelona-Borussia Dortmund, and it was not until Friday when the medical services, after various tests, issued the medical part. The Frenchman asked for the change in the 26th minute suffering from some discomforts that he noticed after trying, unsuccessfully, a shot. This is Dembélé's third muscle injury so far this season.

Since the summer of 2017 he signed for Barcelona from Dortmund, he has suffered a total of eight injuries, seven of them muscular. The French player has played eight games this season (four in LaLiga and four in the Champions League), in which he has scored only one goal, against Sevilla at Camp Nou.

Umtiti carried out his recovery in the same clinic

Ousmane Dembélé will carry out his recovery process in the same hospital as his compatriot and companion Samuel Umtiti. In his case, the center went to the French surgeon and traumatologist, Philippe Laundreau, accompanied by the first team physician Xavier Yanguas, with the aim of avoiding the operating room. In this case, as the Barça team confirmed in an official statement, the medical services of the club will be the only ones responsible for the entire process.
