Anadolu Efes announces that Moerman will return in December

The French power forward was operated in August for an injury to the Achilles tendon, and has not yet been able to participate in any games this season.

Adrien Moerman, one of the main stars of Anadolu Efes, could once again be under Ergin Ataman in mid-December. This was announced on Wednesday the general manager of the Turkish team, Alper Yilmaz, who has also warned that the player will not force to return. The French power forward, 31, went through the operating room in August to solve some problems that he was dragging in the Achilles tendon, which prevented him from playing the World Cup with his team, and that has also taken him away from the courts in the first matches of this season

"We expect Moerman to play in mid-December, but we don't want to rush, because if he gets injured again, it will take much longer to return," Yilmaz said in statements to the Turkish channel TRT. The Gallic player joined the discipline of the whole of Istanbul last year, after a season at Barça, and was a key piece of his team in a unique season in which they won the League and reached the Euroleague final. Moerman averaged 12 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game, and was one of the most used players by Ergin Ataman.

In his absence, Anadolu Efes is in a good moment, both in the Turkish League, in which they occupy the second position with only one defeat in six games, as in the Euroleague, in which they are one of the revelation teams with Four wins and two losses. The Ataman will try to extend this streak this Thursday in their match against Olympiacos.
