Algeria is not interested in Benzema

Djamel Belmadi came out to answer after the information that the crack of Madrid could get to play in the selection of Algeria.

Karim Benzema returns to be a protagonist after reborn the controversy with the French Federation for not being summoned. The Real Madrid player challenged President Noël Le Graët after he closed the selection doors again. "I and only I will put an end to my international career. If you think I'm done, let me play in one of the countries for which I am eligible and we'll see," said the footballer.

These statements raised a new horizon. The French striker could choose to play with Algeria, his parents' country (they were immigrants who came to France from there). It would be possible if France took away Benzema's nationality.

However, neither do Karim's doors open in Algeria. Djamel Belmadi, Algerian coach, has been quick to respond and says he is not interested in this matter. 'I have players like (Baghdad) Bounedjah, Islam (Slimani), (Andy) Delort (Hillal) and Soudani. I am very happy with the players I have, "was his response on the local website DZFoot. Algeria has just won the Africa Cup of Nations in this 2019 (he won Senegal in the final), so he can boast a team without have Benzema on his staff
