The pre-Olympic 'threatens' to take Rodrygo a month

The pearl of Madrid would leave with Brazil U23 in January. If Rodrygo leaves, the Super Cup and the start of the Cup will be lost.

Brazil has been the pre-Olympic in Colombia since January 15 and he wants it to be at the head of the attack canarinha U-23, Real Madrid Rodrygo. The forward (18 years) is now with the Olympic team of his country and in the past morning he joined from the bench to the thrashed to Venezuela (4-1) in a friendly in Pernambuco.

Rodrygo suffered a strong Vinotinto marking as soon as he stepped on the pitch (top image) but his presence with the Verdeamarelha who wants to be in Tokyo 2020 is revealing. André Jardine has cited the Real Madrid player for this FIFA stop (this Monday he could start in another friendly against Japan in Brasilia) and he is expected to do the same for the pre-Olympic because this week's rehearsals are the last before that Olympic ticket is played.

The problem, from the point of view of Madrid, is that this mini-tournament qualifying for the Games is not located on FIFA dates. The entity will have to agree with the Brazilian Football Confederation because if Rodrygo joins the Seleçao he will lose him for almost a month. The pre-Olympic starts on January 15, but the attacker would have to logically leave before that date, and ends on February 2.

If Rodrygo is summoned, he will not be available for Zidane or in the Spanish Supercup at four (from January 8 to 12) or in the first round of the Copa del Rey (January 22), the qualifier is where white coaches usually bet on the less common.

At the moment Rodrygo's participation with the first team has been almost testimonial (he only had 19 'against Osasuna) but he left his mark with a flag control ("It has been the host", was the definition of Zidane himself) that culminated with the goal. He had only been on the field for 95 seconds ... The club's strategy is to take maximum care of it. With Castilla, it will only be fused in the comfort of the subsidiary's matches in Valdebebas. He is saved displacements and artificial grass fields, typical in many clubs of Second B. Without going any further, last weekend he did not play with Madrid on Saturday (although he was summoned) and Raul could not call him for the visit to San Sebastián de los Reyes. If he goes to the pre-Olympic, he will not be either for Zizou or for the Castilian technician.
