Solskjaer compares Rashford's hit with that of Cristiano

"The boy has nerves of steel. He has to throw a penalty and has no problem. Then he steps forward and hits the ball that way to win the game," he said.

Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer compared the strike of his striker Marcus Rashford in the foul that gave United victory against Chelsea with that of his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

"It was very like Cristiano Ronaldo," Solskjaer said of the 30-meter foul that the English striker scored with a spectacular dry shot straight to the squad.

Meanwhile, the second in his account that night, served to tip Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and get the pass to the quarterfinals of the League Cup where they will be measured at Colchester United.

"The boy has the nerves of steel. He has to throw a penalty and has no problem. Then he steps forward and hits the ball that way to win the game. Fantastic," explained the Norwegian coach.

Solskjaer was not the only one to compare the wonder of Rashford with Cristiano, since Victor Lindelof, United defender, posted a photo of the Portuguese star and another of Rashford in social networks similar to hitting the ball.

During his time at United, Cristiano left some memorable goals for foul, as he did to Portsmouth in 2008.
