Rahm rises to fourth place after his victory in Madrid

At the head of the ranking continues the American Brooks Koepka, with 12.2118 points on average. Rory Mcllroy is second.


The Basque golfer Jon Rahm, who on Sunday won the Mutuactivos Open de España at the Club de Campo Villa in Madrid, climbs one place in the world rankings and places himself in number four ahead of the Englishman Justin Rose, who gives him the position this week

Canarian Rafa Cabrera Bello, second in that event, belonging to the European circuit, climbs four places and is placed in 34th place, while also Basque Samuel del Val stars in a spectacular rise in position 1,413 to 659, after being third in the Spanish Open

The Norwegian Rory Mcllroy, chosen player of the year in the PGA circuit for the third time in his career (2012, 2014 and 2019), continues second. The American Dustin Johnson also retains third place while recovering from arthroscopic surgery on the left knee performed in early September.

The top-10 is closed by five other US players. Patrick Cantlay, Justin Thomas, Bryson DeChambeau, Tiger Woods and Xander Schauffele split from sixth to tenth place, respectively.
