"Mbappé is getting neymarized"

Dugarry spoke about the forward's statements in which he said he does not want to be expendable in the PSG of Thomas Tuchel.

Kylian Mbappé has not played any of the three Champions League games as a starter and despite that he was the hero of the last match against Bruges (0-5), scoring three goals and distributing an assist after replacing his partner Choupo-Moting in the 38th minute of the match (it was his second hat-trick as a professional after the cup against Rennes of 2016-2017). The PSG striker, however, was hoping that Thomas Tuchel would have him from the start.

Later, at a press conference, he made it public, although he acknowledges that the coach is the one who decides which players to line up. In addition, he explained that he does not want to be expendable: "I wanted to start. I thought about starting from the beginning. It is the coach's decision and we have to accept it. I wanted to show again that it is difficult to do without me."

But his way of saying it has not pleased a former player like Christophe Dugarry, who thinks that the player may be becoming somewhat selfish, as if Neymar Junior's bad habits hit him. He said it on his RMC program: "It's awkward. I'm a little rough, but I don't want to break my dream with Mbappé. I think it's getting 'Neymarizing.' An individualistic approach is perceived."
