Atlético closed its week with Diego Costa in the group

The rojiblanco team trained for the last time before enjoying the free weekend. Vitolo continues to work alone.

Atlético concluded its week of training under minimum, with eleven players from the first team in Madrid and the other ten members of the squad in their international commitments with their respective national teams. Simeone has granted his players the weekend off as usual in the league stands.

The Argentine coach was able to count on Diego Costa during the first part of the training after the Spanish-Brazilian had not been able to work in the Wednesday and Thursday sessions for suffering from gastroenteritis. The '19' accompanied Adam, Arias, Felipe, Hermoso, Llorente, Thomas, Koke, Morata and Saponjic as members of the first team. However, Costa was not part of the final match where Saponjic accompanied Morata in attack. He was also absent from the final part Thomas. For that match, in addition to Sanabria, the Riquelme, Manu Sánchez and Toni Moya joined other Atlético B.

The one who continues to work alone to return as soon as possible is Vitolo, who yesterday could already be seen touching the ball and who hopes to be at Valencia. A match that is in Simeone's mind since the draw in Valladolid. During the next week the players who have been summoned by their teams will be reinstated to prepare the match against the che team. Giménez and Herrera will be the last to arrive, as they will play their last match of the break at dawn from Tuesday to Wednesday.
