Movistar did the right thing

Santi Blanco analyzes the ninth stage of the Tour of Spain. He believes there are still four favorites to victory and that Movistar does not have a defined leader.

Andorra gave us a spectacular stage that ended with epic touches due to the hail that fell in the final part. The hardness was shown at the finish line, to which the cyclists were arriving alone or in pairs. That shows how hard the day had to be even though it did not exceed 100 kilometers. In spite of everything, between the favorites is still very open, since the four favorites are in 20 seconds. It's nothing, let alone having a time trial on Tuesday. Roglic is a favorite and I think Superman will be the most affected. 444444

For his part, Movistar did the right thing. I understand Marc Soler's anger, but the team's order was fine. Movistar has to go win the race, not the stage. He has won two already and the most important thing is to end the red in Madrid, not a third victory. If you arrive, welcome, but Marc's help to Nairo and Alejandro was more important than reaching the finish line first. Who is the team leader? Until one does not waste much time one will not decide. Right now they are even, although Nairo goes red. Pogacar, with his victory, is confirmed. It was the young runner that many expected to appear ... and here it is.
