Plenary of Bennett in a photo sprint finish with Groenewegen

The Irishman got his third stage win so far in the race and extended his lead in the lead. The cobblestone section of the tour did not show.

Days pass on the BinckBank Tour, but the results remain the same. Sam Bennett achieved his third stage win this week, full so far, in a very tight sprint on Aalter's goal. The judges of the race had to resort to the photo finish, since the Irishman surpassed his maximum rival in flying, Dylan Groenewegen, by just a few centimeters. 2

The stage, of 166.9 kilometers, was configured with three laps to a circuit through the streets of the Belgian town of Aalter. The peculiarity that the organization included, with a total of four steps along a cobbled stretch, did not achieve the desired effect since no one tried to surprise the sprinters before the goal with true conviction. 444444

Despite this, a trio of adventurers he challenged the platoon for a good part of the day: Stijn Steels, Guillaume Van Keirsbulck and Harry Tanfield. 2 But the ambition of the sprinter teams threw the feat to ground 4 km away thanks to the fantastic work of the Jumbo-Visma team. Everything was facing Groenewegen's triumph to sprint. Philipsen stayed one more day with honey on his lips throwing the sprint too soon, watching as the other two 'roosters' passed him right and left. After crossing the finish line it was the organization who confirmed to Bennett his victory after consulting the photo finish. In the general there were no significant changes and the Bora-Hansgrohe runner himself expanded his lead advantage. 222222
