Peter Sagan won the fifth stage of the Tour de France. The arrival, the sprint, allows Julian Alaphilippe to continue as the leader of the race.


Peter Sagan won the fifth stage of the Tour de France. The Slovak, who had not had a great year so far, clearly won the volata. With no attacks between the favorites in the ports, the group could get compacted and that has allowed Julian Alaphilippe to continue as leader of the race, although Van Aert took a few seconds to make him slightly cut the difference with the lead.
