Celta passes Mathias Jensen to English Brentford

The Galician club has sold the player for a figure close to five million euros. Jensen will sign a four-season contract.

The Celta de Vigo announced on Wednesday the transfer of the Danish Under-21 international Mathias Jensen to Brentford, a club that will pay close to five million euros for the player. The Danish will sign a contract for the next four seasons, with a fifth option, with his new team.

"RC Celta and Brentford FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of the federative rights of midfielder Mathias Jensen" , reports in its statement the Galician entity, which reserves a percentage of a future sale.

The Celta expresses to Jensen, signed last summer of the Nordsjaelland, his sincere thanks for "the effort and commitment" shown during his season at the club, and he wishes him "a great success" in his time in the British team, which plays in the Championship.
