Alavés tries Adrián San Miguel's choice for the goal

He has finished his relationship with the English West Ham and could return to Spain. Antonio Sivera has barely played in the last two years with Deportivo Alavés.

The figure of Fernando Pacheco is huge and Antonio Sivera has only had prominence with the Copa del Rey and in certain league clashes with Pacheco injured or sanctioned. But Luis De la Fuente has always trusted his chances and, after an error by Unai Simón in the first match of the tournament, he has taken the title in the U21 Spanish national team of Italy and San Marino. His performances have stood out and his cache has gone up.

The same has happened with his partner Martín Aguirregabiria. Days before the semifinals, it transpired that Real Madrid could bet on him. It would be the goalkeeper of Castilla and the third goalkeeper of the Zidane team. Questioned on the subject, Alavés sports director Sergio Fernandez commented in the presentation of Pere Pons that "as you will understand I will not give details in a press conference of possible negotiations on players." If the news was an outrageous would have discarded the first change.

With this sea in the background, in Seville has transcended that the Alavés is testing Adrián San Miguel, goalkeeper formed by Betis and so far in West Ham. In fact, the goalkeeper has completed six seasons in England, but has already concluded his contractual relationship and is now free. If Sivera leaves, Adrián could be an option.

El Alavés starts the preseason with 25 players tomorrow. Another five are with their selections (Maripán, Wakaso and Verdon) or on vacation for having played the European Under-21 (Sivera and Martín). Asier Garitano wants to manage a staff of 23 or 24, so there will be several departures. Some by technical decision but others, surely, by transfers.
