The Movistar, brilliant: best team of the Giro d'Italia

With champion Richard Carapaz and Mikel Landa, who was fourth, Movistar took the team classification for the second time in their history in the Giro.


El Movistar was proclaimed winner of the team classification in the Giro d'Italia for the second time in its history (the previous time was in 2017) . Andrey Amador, Héctor Carretero, Lluís Mas, Antonio Pedrero, José Joaquín Rojas, Jasha Sutterlin, Mikel Landa and Richard Carapaz. With these eight men, the team of Eusebio Unzue managed to reign in this section with a time of 270 hours, 44 minutes and 14 seconds in the three weeks of the race, ahead of Astana and Bahrain.

Además, the structure adds its 15th great return after the victory of Richard Carapaz, more than any other team.
