Sendoa Aguirre could stop being delegate of Alavés

Athletic has a short list of candidates to replace Andoni Imaz and one of them is Erandio.

It is not the first time that Alavés players or technicians are packing and , sooner or later, acaban in Lezama or San Mamés. The closest case was the exit of Ibai Gómez in the past winter market to play again at rojiblanco. Also in his day, Mané and Angel Garitano were technical managers of the Bilbao team after having triumphed in Mendizorroza.

Andoni Imaz will not continue as a delegate of Athletic and the club from Bizkaia is now studying a short list of candidates to replace him. And one of them is Sendoa Aguirre, the manager of Alavés, , who was once a player of the first team from Vitoria. His performance has been commendable so far and even, on a couple of occasions, has been designated best delegate of the Santander League.

Sendoa is Erandio, is 43 years old, and since 2015 is the delegate of the Babazorro team. As a player he was linked to Romo, Athletic, Sondika, Balmaseda, Zorroza, Gernika, Eibar, Barakaldo, Alicante, Hercules and Alavés, where he hung his boots with 37 years old. Imaz, on the other hand, stopped being Athletic's delegate last May 29.
