Kicker: Bayern will not execute the purchase option for James

The clause was valid until June 15 of this year. The Colombian returns to Real Madrid after two years of assignment in the Bavarian set.

Bayern Munich has decided not to make use of the purchase option it has on the Colombian international James Rodríguez, according to information published by the magazine "Kicker" in its edition of this Monday.

James has been for two seasons at Bayern on loan by Real Madrid and the Bavarian club had a purchase option worth 42 million euros, valid until June 15 of this year.

"The Bayern bosses have agreed that the option is not executed. the Colombian will leave Bayern, probably bound for Naples ", says the" Kicker ".

The president of the club, Uli Hoeness, had said that the last word on whether the purchase option was executed or not depended on coach Niko Kovac .

The other heavyweight of the club, Karlheinz Rummenigge, had ruled that the purchase option was used and then sold to Jam is another club claiming that Bayern does not "traffic with people" .

James in his first season, still with Jupp Heynckes as coach, had a major role in Bayern.

In his second season, however, his role has been intermitente partly because he had repeated problems of muscular injuries and partly because he did not find space in the scheme proposed by Kovac.
