Jorge Prado renews his contract with KTM and Red Bull for four years

"If I win the title this year there is no better place to climb to MXGP with a 450," says the leader of the MX2 motocross category.


El Spanish Jorge Prado, current motocross world champion in the MX2 category and leader of the provisional classification of the same in 2019, has renewed his contract with KTM and Red Bull for the next four seasons.

Prado, 18, is one of the leading world motocross figures currently and one of its main values to be unbeaten in nine of the ten races and to revalidate his world title would be the third KTM pilot to get behind Marvin Musquin and Jeffrey Herlings.

"I am very happy to be here for four more years since I started working with them and with Claudio -from Carli-, I have always felt that my site was here and If I win the title this year there is no better place to go to MXGP with a 450 since it will be everything much easier ", Jorge Prado said after signing the contract.
