Benfica wants Lucas Silva

The Lisbon club is in talks with Madrid to get the services of the Brazilian midfielder, according to the Brazilian portal UOL.


Lucas Silva has put an end to two seasons of assignment at Cruzeiro and his future could now be at Benfica. According to the Brazilian portal UOL, the Lisbon club is already in talks with Madrid to achieve the services of the Brazilian midfielder . Lucas Silva has a contract with Madrid until June 30, 2020 and at the club they are ready to facilitate his departure, so his signing will not mean a high outlay on Benfica.

The Brazilian midfielder, who came to Madrid in the winter market of the 2014-15 season, only played nine games with the white team. The following season was ceded to Marseille. The summer of 2016, a heart problem in the medical review frustrated his signing by Sporting de Lisboa. That was the beginning of a calvary for him until in 2017 he returned on loan to Cruzeiro, reaching 102 games in the last two seasons .

Your good performance in the Cruzeiro has helped him to get the attention of Benfica, which intends to make him a contract for three seasons. The Lisbon club also is in full talks with Madrid to achieve the signing of Raúl de Tomás, who is called to fill the vacancy left by Joao Felix.
