Antonelli is the first driver of the season who repeats pole

The Italian of SIC58 Squadra Corse has been imposed on Toba and Arbolino surpassing the record of the track by 51 thousandths. The first Spaniard on the grid is Canet, ninth.

It took eight Moto3 qualifications to find a driver capable of repeating pole. Antonelli has done it and he has done it with a tiempazo of 1: 41.232 with which he has lowered the track record by 51 thousandths, so far in power of Bastianini since 2015.

The Italian of SIC58 Squadra Corse has beaten in a frantic final to Toba by 0.144 and Arbolino by 0.157. These two will be his teammates in a front row that has resisted the Spanish, as well as the second, reserved for Suzuki, Vietti and Ogura. The first of ours appears closing the third row. It is Canet, which will start third after Kornfeil and Dalla Porta.

Other Spaniards present in Q2 have been Fernández 12º, Ramírez 13º, García 16º, López 18º. You have to remember that Lopez will go six places further back because of the sanction he suffered for irresponsible driving yesterday and that cost him and Canet the crash. More back they have qualified, without access to Q2, Masiá 19º and Arenas 20º.
