Tour of Italy 2019: teams, numbers and cyclists

Check out the 176 riders who will take the start in the Giro d'Italia, which will start on May 11 in Bologna and end on June 2 in Verona.


The 102nd edition of the Giro d'Italia will have a total of 22 teams, each with eight runners (176 in total), with Movistar being the only Spanish team. Mikel Landa will take the number one (in the absence of official confirmation), a number that was reserved for world champion Alejandro Valverde on the telephone equipment but whose injury has prevented him from attending the Italian event. In total, 21 stages that will begin on Saturday May 11 in Bologna and conclude on Sunday June 2 in Verona.
