Pella says goodbye to Roland Garros

He fell in four sets against the young tennis player Corentin Moutet, only 20 years old. The unforced failures and the good level of the French surprised Guido.


The Bahiense Guido Pella was eliminated today in the second round of Roland Garros, after losing with the French Corentin Moutet by 6-3, 6-1, 2-6 and 7-5.

Pella, twenty-third in the world ranking, fell against Moutet ( 110), in two hours and 31 minutes of play.

The next rival in the tournament of the young French player will be the winner of the match between his compatriot Richard Gasquet (39) and the Cordovan Juan Ignacio Londero (78) .

The Grand Slam of Roland Garros is played on the surface of brick dust and will distribute around twenty million euros in prizes.
