David Valero takes the Super Cup Massi de Barcelona

David Valero, rider of the MMR Factory Racing Team, broke the race at the start of the third round and ran away with the Swiss Nicola Rohrbach.

The starting grid was the clear reflection of the level of cyclists present in the International Triumph Ciutat de Barcelona with Raggl (Möbel Marki MTB Pro Team) , McConnell (Primaflor-Mondraker-Rotor), Koretzky (KMC-EKOI-ORBEA), riders of Team Massi Rosa, Drechou, Griot, among many others. From the starting whistle, the race was frantic, encouraged by the clamor of the audience. A compact group of bikers led by the Austrian champion, Raggl, imposed a difficult pace to follow. Anything could happen. The favorites were kept on the wheel until the Spanish champion, David Valero, decided to attack.

In the female category, the race was spectacular from the first moment, when the French Lecomte (Team Massi) attacked forming a select group of cyclists formed by Degn (KMC-EKOI-ORBEA) and the riders of the Primaflor-Mondraker-Rotor, McConnell and Michiels. The pace was so high that little by little it was seen that the only one capable of following it was the Belgian champion, Michiels. Lap to lap, the margin with respect to its persecutors was increasing. Michiels' strike of authority that arrived very happy at the finish line.
