It's like the Guadiana. Chus Puras appears and disappears from the world of competition, which is never forgotten. After years without running, the Spaniard is going to meet again with the rallies this weekend at the Trasmiera Festival, where he will drive a Citroën C3 R5. but that does not end his comeback. He works to go to the Dakar with a buggy and also wants to run rallies in the Spanish Championship.

For years without competing, Puras dared to ride the Dakar motorbike two years ago. His adventure ended with a fall and an injury, nothing that made him give up. In fact, wants to return to the toughest competition in the world of the engine, this time at the wheel of a Buggy Can Am. "We are looking for support for this project," says the Spaniard. On his return to the wheel of a rally car, Puras explains that "I am very excited to be in Trasmiera for several reasons On the one hand, for making a tribute to the fans, on the other, for driving on asphalt again, which I have not done for almost twelve years, and also with a last-generation car, and being able to see first-hand the differences with the mechanics that I piloted ".

But that's not where it ends. As he has gone back to bite the bug, the eight-time champion of Spain rally, world champion of group N and F2, and winner of the Tour of Corsica, "I would love to run a couple of tests or three of the Championship of Spain with This car, A today has absolutely nothing closed, but we are evaluating the possibility of doing a mini program in the National ", says Puras.
