Sainz: "I could only complete 60 or 70% of my program"

The Spaniard comments what complicated his day the unexpected rain and hopes that McLaren can recover that time on Wednesday.

The Spanish driver of Formula 1 Carlos Sainz (McLaren) has assured that the test day in Bahrain, in which he finished ninth in the timesheets, has been "difficult", especially since the weather has prevented them from completing the plan envisage.

"It was a difficult day due to the unexpected weather conditions here, which meant that the execution plan was interrupted all morning and I could not complete my entire program, but I was still able to do it at 60 or 70 percent" , said in declarations to McLaren.

Además, the Madrilenian hopes that the team can continue with the work without incident on Wednesday. "We still have some things to do and we hope the team can continue with them tomorrow. It was a big surprise to see some rain in Bahrain," he concluded.
