Obama, Bird, Bush ... Farewell messages for Nowitzki and Wade

Both players played their last home game for the Mavericks and the Heat, respectively, and the homages were like that.

Dirk Nowitzki

The German power forward announced that they will finish their race at the end of this season, just tomorrow in San Antonio. The Mavs had also prepared a great tribute in what is already their last home game in Dallas. There was a celebration on the track with legends like Charles Barkley, Larry Bird or Detlef Schrempf (also German), with owner Mark Cuban and coach Rick Carlisle and with video messages like that of former President George W. Bush.

Dwyane Wade

The escort had already announced last summer that this would be the last game he would play at home with the Miami Heat, the team with which he has managed to win three times the championship. Several videos were shown, with Barack Obama as the main protagonist (both are joined by Chicago) and with Zaire Wade, one of the player's sons, as the most emotional point of the ceremony prepared for him.
