First opportunity for Courtois in the Zidane era

After seven games without playing (five by injury, two by technical decision), the Belgian played his first minutes under the French coach.

Thibaut Courtois made his debut under Zidane as Real Madrid coach. The Belgian goalkeeper had to wait almost a month and a half to get his first opportunity with the French coach and this happened in Vallecas, in the match between Rayo Vallecano and Real Madrid. Seven matches have been without playing Courtois since Zidane took over Madrid to replace Solari: five for injury and two, against Celta and Getafe, by technical decision of Zidane.

It will be the first opportunity for Courtois to begin to gain confidence Zidane, who has been asked countless times in relation to what he plans to do with the goal from next season. The French has not revealed anything, although he said that next year "there will be no debate, everything will be clear". Keylor has been his goalkeeper in the three consecutive Champions League and has his confidence, but the club is firmly committed to Courtois, younger (26 years) and for which a good investment (35 million) was made last summer.
