Diego Costa has no break, but he is doubtful for the Camp Nou

Atletico has reported that the resonance practiced on the striker discards the tear in the back of the thigh. Lemar, on the other hand, has a grade I thigh injury.

Diego Costa has undergone an MRI today to check the extent of the ailment that prevented him from finishing the game in Mendizorroza. The results of the tests show that there is no muscle break in the thigh, but the striker is doubtful for the Camp Nou match due to another physical problem.

It is the fifth mishap of the striker this season, four of them of muscular origin. Costa noticed the discomfort during the first part of the match against Alavés and the decision was made to replace him to try to reach the clash next Saturday at the Camp Nou. At this moment, it is a serious doubt for that match and it is ruled out for Tuesday against Girona.


On the other hand, Atlético has also reported that Lemar suffers "a myotendinous lesion grade I in the hamstring musculature of the thigh", after having also undergone an MRI at the University Clinic of Navarra. The French midfielder will be low, at least, the next two matches.
