CIES report: the players with the highest market value in the five major European leagues

Courtois, valued at € 75m, leads Madrid; Dybala surpasses Cristiano; Mbappé is the most expensive in the world; Messi sends in LaLiga Santander, Hazard is worth 122 million ...

The CIES Football Observatory has presented a report in which it exposes the players who, in their opinion, have the highest market value of each of the teams of the five major leagues. Among all the protagonists, it surprises the presence of Thibaut Courtois, with a 'price' of 75 million euros. The Belgian goalkeeper, in the eye of the hurricane after the elimination in the Champions or his grotesque error with Belgium, is no longer the undisputed holder after the arrival of Zinedine Zidane. In fact, Keylor Navas was in the eleven in the first duel of the Frenchman in his new stage.

'Zizou 'wanted to clarify the goal in the pre-match press conference between Real Madrid and Valencia in Mestalla. "At the moment I have three good ones and we will see what we do next season There will be no debate next year about the goalkeepers, it will be very clear," he acknowledged before the media. With these words, it does not clarify whether he will bet only for a keeper or, if on the contrary, alternate them in the different competitions, as it happened, for example, in the time of Casillas and Diego López.

Mbappé, most valuable player of the world

The maelstrom that has caused the irruption of Mbappé in soccer is also represented economically. The PSG attacker has a market value of 228 million euros, which is 26% of the total sum of the PSG. In Ligue 1, nobody coughs. In fact, the most valued of other equipment is Memphis Depay (Lyon) , with 80M € of price.

The silver drawer for the CIES corresponds to Harry Kane. At 25, the Tottenham striker is a reference in English football and a dream longed for big continent. Therefore, it has been assessed at 198 million. It is followed by Raheem Sterling (€ 187M) and Mohamed Salah (€ 185M). In fifth place appears Messi, with 171 million value, and in the sixth Lukaku, with 159.

In the Bundesliga, reigns Jadon Sancho, with 148,000,000 of value at 19 years. He only represents a quarter of the value of the template of Borussia de Dortmund. In Calcium, it is Dybala the number one. The age, in this case, is a plus for the Italian playmaker to overcome Cristiano Ronaldo (142 against 125) .

Hazard and contracts

Eden Hazard is the player with the most market value with only one remaining year of contract. The Belgian, intended by Real Madrid, costs 122 million for the CIES, although, in case of not being transferred in the next transfer window, it will end up at zero cost. Timo Werner, in the same contractual situation as the '10', has been appraised at € 70M

Messi, Griezmann and Courtois; the podium of LaLiga

Messi (171M €) and Courtois (75M €) take the gold and bronze medal respectively. In between, Antoine Griezmann strains, with 150 million of price. Oyarzabal (69), Guedes (67), André Silva (58), Lo Celso (45) or Maxi Gömez (43) follow them and see their value grow for their promising career. They complete the table Fornals and Williams (41); Borja Iglesias and Pedro Porro (25); Bardhi (24); In Nesyri (23); Maksimovic (20); Unal and RDT (13); Maripán (12); the 'Cucho' Hernández (9); and Joan Jordán (8) .
