Australia wins 3-2 against Belarus and will play the final at home

Barty and Stosur won the doubles to Azarenka and Sabalenka. The Pat Rafter pavilion in Brisbane suffered for almost two hours with a final score of 7-5, 3-6 and 6-2.


Australia won Belarus by a tight 3-2 and qualified to play the Final of the Federation Cup to be played on ocean lands next November.

After 1-1 of the Saturday, Ashleigh Barty was scored his second point and that of Australia by beating Aryna Sabalenka by a double 6-2. But Victoria Azarenka restored equality by beating Samantha Stosur by a double and clear 6-1.

All was thus in charge of the doble, which played Barty and Stosur against Azarenka and Sabalenka. The pavilion Pat Rafter of Brisbane suffered for almost two hours for finally celebrate the victory of the 'aussies' by 7-5, 3-6 and 6-2.

The Australian team will host the final of the competition and will face France or Romania, that on the first day ended up tied, 1-1.
