Aprilia already has a spoiler like Ducati's: it was tested in Austin

Noale's brand, one of those who protested against the appendix of Borgo Panigale, tested the deflector after the US Grand Prix in a private test and will debut it in Jerez.

First was Honda. And now it has been Aprilia. The famous spoiler that Ducati used since the first race of the MotoGP World Championship in Qatar is reaching the rest of the factories. Honda got the nod to install the appendix on Marquez's bike during the second free GP of the Americas and did not use it in the race. And the device, "to improve the rigidity of the swingarm" in the case of Honda and to "cool the rear tire" in the case of Ducati, has reached the bikes of Iannone and Aleix Espargaró.

The baffle was installed by the factory of Noale in a private test at the Austin circuit on Monday after the races. The spoon-shaped piece has three wings, very similar to that of Borgo Panigale, while that of Honda lacks slots.

In any case the idea of Aprilia is used in deflector in the GP of Spain in the circuit of Jerez-Angel Nieto after the positive results they saw in the use of the piece. With Honda and Aprilia already using the piece of discord, are only Suzuki and KTM (of the factories that denounced the illegality of the spoiler) for installing something similar. Yamaha did not file a complaint but it already has the piece ready, since it was assembled in the last GP of the Valencian Community in 2018. Although it did it in a wet race and to facilitate the evacuation of water.
